About Us
Our Story
The MJ Mercantile was born out of a vision to bring Maggie and her kid's passion for fine arts and military service together into one comprehensive platform to share with you!
Accompliments
As a band, chorus, orchestra and drama mama to three very talented boys, Maggie found herself trying to find bling to show her pride and love for the fine arts just as she had for her boy's sports teams. However, in her search she kept coming up short and from that Accompliments (formerly Noted Apparel) was created. The first merch ordered was sunglasses for her boys to use at band camp which became a big hit for their friends as well. Now the merch round up includes apparel, jewelry and giftware with many of the designs being created or inspired by her boys!
ChicChief
Maggie is a 23 year Navy Veteran, third generation on her daddy's side, and a Gold Star Mom whose oldest son served in the Navy but left this earth way too soon after a motorcycle accident while on liberty. As a retired Chief, Maggie found it hard to find apparel and giftware that let her show her pride for her service while honoring her as a lady Veteran. From this lack of lady Vet merch ChicChief was created to help her and other ladies broudly honor their service and/or pride for our great nation!
Keeping His Spirit Alive
Maggie's son was serving on the USS Ford (CVN-78) when he left this earth too soon. To honor him and continue to give back to her communities (local and nation-wide), The MJ Mercantile donates the .78 cents from each merch item sold to local Brevard County fine arts programs and nationally to non-profits supporting Veterans and Gold Star Families. Thank you for helping us keep his spirit alive!
